Spulynx? spew-links (phenetic) or maybe spewlynx?

I played a PC game (or maybe mac game? we had both) in that late 90s when I was kid called, Spulinks or Spulynx (not sure, there was for sure a y in it, and it for sure started with an s). It was an exploration game where you solved puzzles or something, explored rooms. One room was a forest with tea cups, or tea pots? it was kind of futuristic, dark and artsy. I remember a lot of hatches? not sure if anyone has any idea what i'm talking about but, I thought maybe someone would recognize something. anyway i'd appreciate any help or clues! Thanks!
