Making of a music video...

I created this thread just to post music videos currently in the making and the whole process of how it happens....

First off it's "I am a loser" a song written in 2008 for this girl I really liked but couldn't express it at the time

I completed the animated part of it (which is also the sad depressing gloomy part of the song) a while ago

But the song and video doesn't end there cuz it's not meant to depress people and leave them dry but rather to inspire them.

The rest of the song goes like

For this part of the song I am planning on shooting some parts with camera adding a few parts animated and get the very girl I wrote the song for to act in it so it adds something REAL to the whole pain I once felt but now relieved and able to carry on with life with a positive attitude. I'm planning the video part to be me and the girl sitting on a bench with me playing the keyboard/piano. We're both wearing masks with smiling faces on them but as the camera slowly comes near and I start to sing I take off the mask boldly while the girl still has hers on refusing to let her real feelings out. In between there are some scenes of how people come out of despair and gradually as the song comes to an end I slowly take the girl's mask off and she's crying but a smile gently emerges with a sense of freedom...

Anywayz sorry for all this mindless rambling.... this is exactly what goes in my mind and gives me a headache when preparing a music video and thought I'd share it with you guys for a change and give you headaches

Well good news friends (eh... you too dosraider). I showed the animation to the girl I wrote it for and she was very touched and said she would definitely act in the video for me. She is currently very busy with college projects and her family is very strict so it might take her a month or so.

In the meantime I'm planning on animating this old tune of mine.

I composed it when I was in 9th grade and was infact my very first own composition. Alas my animating skills weren't so great (maybe not so great still lol) but I think I can take it on. My proudest moment for this song came when a kid named Matt Ahrens heard it at Newgrounds and actually arranged a <a href="http://laughinggames.com/music/everyone ... pdf">sheet music</a> for it AND played it at his school recital even mentioned my name. I was so so soooo touched beyond words I just couldn't believe it.

Anywayz the plan for this video is gonna be completely dance theme, where an android named 'jackbliss' is sent from outer space to communicate with human beings in the form of dance. He dances incredibly well but everyone keeps rejecting him due to his hideous form and the aliens get pissed and decide to destroy the entire planet obsessed with appearance rather than talent and a species like us will only deteriorate the rest of the cosmos.... Or something like that

I did make a short film/music video with this tune before for my college semester exam but that just sucked badly which is why I wanna make something much much better. You can watch it <a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xarfkp ... s">here</a> if you want

Also on my way to the train station today I was listening to "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay again and again and thought THIS would be the perfect song for my official sequel to "<a href="http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/314457"> Back to the start Mario</a> and call it "Viva la Mario" lol... more on that music video later
