A few days ago I stumbled upon an old thread about Enchantasy in the "Find Old Games" section, in which people were trying to figure out how to circumvent the 5-save shareware limit (Registration has, unfortunately, long been discontinued for this game).

On the off-chance anyone is still interested in that, here is what you have to do in order to boost up your save count to 32767 (the maximum possible):

Edit the last Hex (adr. 13) of the file 'STATS.SAV' in the game directory to 'FF 7F'.

Additionally, if you want to start a new game (not normally possible in the unregistered version), simply delete 'PLAYER.SAV' and you will automatically begin a new game when you boot it up the next time.

You totally made my life... THIS WORKS!!!!!!!!!

The file that I hex edited was STATS.DAT

adr. 12 was changed to FF
adr. 13 changed to 7F

Fricking amazing....

I have wanted to beat this game since I was 11...
