Duke Nukem 3D and Xp

Post by XanaduWapiti »

I have Duke Nukem 3d (version 1.5) and have installed it on Xp Home and Xp Office. However, when I run it I have Sound and Video problems. I tried everything in the little FAQ that was on this site. VDMS makes it crash but works with other DOS games on the OS. The video works only on 320x200 VGA but when I try to up the resolution to anything higher, It locks up. Sound is there, but choppy. Is there anything I can do??

NOLFB causes it to lock up on the Nuke sign. ACR and DukeRoch does the same thing, but thats only when I don't let Xp control the memory settings (conventional memory, extended..etc.) And how do you get a hold of 'Bobo'??

BTW: Has any of you ever got the BUILD keys to function correctly?
