OS? Windows7
Original game? nope
Downloaded? Yes (only the sound card I have since installed)

I have a problem I can not launch the editor. After installation of DosBox 0.74 on PM3ED he always tells me: Unable to locate game file pm3game.exe

Here are the paths that go to the game.

D: \ oldgames

installation folder is in the pm3ed
D: \ oldgames \ PM3ED

The game is in the folder:

D: \ oldgames \ pm \ pm3

The multi-editor I have:

D: \ oldgames \ pm \ PM3ED

installed.

When I was in DosBox then pm3ed write he says to me:
Unable to locate game file pm3game.exe

In Dosbox 0.74 sees the config like this:
[autoexec]
Mount c "D: \ oldgames"
c:
# Lines in this section will be run at startup.

P.S: When installing the editor, this message is in DOSBox Status Window:
Shell: Redirect output to nul

This message occurs when installing 9x

I see .....

Still missing pieces of vital info:
What are your inputs to launch pm3?
What are your inputs to launch pm3ed?

Please be detailed.

It's possible you will have to add a path=****** , but didn't thought so, will have to dig up my own game copy and try it out again to be sure, must find it first of course, don't hold your breath .......

?????
All your inputs please. PLEASE.

You'll at least will have to do some cd xxxxx to get in the right folder, or else you screwed things up big.

You always could ask where you downed the game, I have no idea how they cracked the copy protection.
Can be it's buggy, and it simply can't work ........ no idea :cuccoan:

OK

In Dosbox I give the path c: \ pm \ pm3 (pm3) then pm3game

In Dosbox I give the path c: \ pm \ pm3ed (Editor) then pm3ed

Can you send me a copy of the game and editor?

Pfffffffffffffffffffffffffff........ : Not OK, far from even.

Your inputs as you give them please.....
You don't input I give the path c: \ pm \ pm3 do you...???
Give your inputs in detail please, as you input them.

No can do, it's still protected and thus prohibited to distribute.

Why don't you ask where you downed the game? If the 'pm3game.exe' file has been modified the editor will never work as it checks for a valid (original) pm3game.exe.......

Fact is: the original PM and PM3DED work in dosbox, if you install within dosbox. A 'cracked' pm3 however .... I have no idea.

Hello, I've now bought the original game on CD.

Soccer Stars 96 because it is PM3. The CD I have to install on Dosbox?
If I did it works Multi-Edit?

So: Yes, indeed, you must install the game in dosbox.

BTW, you do know that the so called 'editor' is in fact a cheap cheat ...???

Yes, I know. But I would not change the player values, but the players enter the name of today.
