Warcraft II Battle.net edition CD error

Post by NickParker »

So, I recently got warcraft II Bnet edition.

I installed the Spawn version first, and it worked just fine, aside from no servers coming up in listings.

So I updated to the full version, and now whenever I try to start the program I get "Warcraft II Bnet is unable to read a required file" and to make sure the CD is in the drive. The game is patched to 2.0.2.

What's wrong?

Don't you need a key or so?

Anyway, best ask those questions in a WCraft forum, I think.
Afterall, this is an ABANDONWARE forum......and Wcraft isn't abandoned:

Since someone put this:
A message board to talk about DOS games, get help, and find old games.
up above?

I thought ....
