Topic locking

Forum for all the suggestions that have 1. nothing to do with our two websites (Dosgames.com/ DosGamesArchive) and 2. are not bug reports.

Topic locking

Post by Wally »

Is there a way to make the topics lock after 1 month of inactivity?

This will save all those worthless posts that have already been answered properly being revied.
Also i should mention that *Cough* N00bs *Cough* keep tending to reply to these even though we know this very well..

That will just mean lots more guest-created topics that are there for no reason.

Oh the irony...

NO. If a topic needs to be locked, the mods and admins here will lock it. If not, your idea will just cause more problems then it will solve.

It's much better to have people bump old topics than make new ones about the exact same thing.

I don't understand why people seem to think otherwise.

You're not supporting it, you're going to make it worse.
