Horror 3D game between 2000 - 2010

So I only remember that it starts out in around prison, a dark underground thing. And maybe I would break someone out. Then small monsters with large teeth for a face are fire camping in the cave. When they hear my foot steps or something, they come running at me. I don't remember much else.. please help me find it.

The description may actually fit the tutorial dungeon in The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.

My first though too, Mr Flibble; only I wouldn't call it a horror game, and maybe it would leave more of an impression than just the start?

Well, if not Oblivion, then maybe something like Painkiller:Overdose?
Starts in a prison, but with more of a demonic horror setting.
