PC war game from 90's

i played this in school back in the 90's on pc. side scroller game where you played as a helicopter vs the enemy who was basically a mirror of you. the goal was to destroy the base on the other side of map to win or the enemy does the same to your base to lose. you got money or points every time u got a kill from what i remember and u used the money to buy units. like if you pressed T you would get troopers or tank cant remeber if you pressed M you got a missile truck. u could buy all sorts of units and they would mindlessly start walking to the other side of the map doing there attack untill death. the enemy side did the same and basically first to kill other side won. edit: it could have been late 80's. it was in black and white. most likely installed with a floppy. the original Prince of Persia was also on that pc but it was the demo and not the full game so around that time period if that helps at all.
