I remember this game from my childhood and I can't remember the name of it.
It was a PS1 game and what I remember was that there was a red ninja looking character with brown hair and some sort of sword, a woman with purple hair and I believe had a gun, a bloated clown looking character that whenever they walked it made a distinct squeaking sound. I don't remember any story elements but I remember multiplayer was from a top-down perspective that the goal was to fill some sort of container on the character's back that you charge that would release some sort of homing energy ball that would target the other player and kill them. And a specific way to avoid dying to the ball was to be underneath certain bridges in the map to take the hit but in turn the bridge would be destroyed.
