PC Japanese educational game 2001-2003

So this was a game that I played in either 3rd or 5th grade (2001/2003), although I'm not sure how long it had been out at that point-we played it in the computer lab I believe so I don't know any of the developer/publisher info. Basically the idea was that you learned about different topics of japanese culture and history, and as you learned them and (I think) passed mini quizzes on it, you would get "belts" until eventually you became a black belt. Unfortunately since it's been so long and I was a kid at the time, I don't remember much more, besides that there were two kids on the main screen, one boy one girl, that I believe were the people that 'took you through' japan. Any help in finding this game would be greatly appreciated!!
