Need help finding the name of a game

This is a game for kids where you had characters you would buy in stores to plug into your computer, to then play with those characters in the game. They had characters such as a devil, a panda, and they looked kind of like they were bent over. In the game it was like an open world concept, and from what I remember I was always running away from some character in the game that would always try and steal your money. You could also play little mini games inside the open world, but it was mainly about trying to flee away from the bad character that would steal your momey... please help me find out what game i am talking about.. thank you
