I have been looking for this game for over 10 years. Came across this forum and thought maybe someone knows what it is with what I can remember.
Platform: I played on Windows 95 - Was a disc. So I assume it was Windows 95. Actually bought same day I bought Tojam and Earl Panic on Funkatron.
I remember the Box saying Coming soon to Sunday Morning Cartoons, but I never saw the cartoon, Always look for it as a kid. So I doubt it made it to TV.
I remember MAYBE, a Superhero, and a sidekick. I remember at one point, I had to make a Bug from bug parts to fight another bug.
Another part I remember is turning mirrors to reflect light in a certain way.
The game I believe was Point and Click. It was designed for Kids. I remember the main guy being kind silly and dumb acting.
