Island development game before 2013

I played this game on Windows XP between the years 2009 and 2013. In the game you crashed on an island (i think) and had to develop a village and unlock new parts of the map(i dont remember the gameplay very well but i remember the intro of the game had a golden compass). At some point there we pirate ships i had to fight(i think).
