Platform game about an armadillo throwing knives

Ok so this DOS game was very old, probabily between 80s and early 90s, and the protagonist was an armadillo throwing knives as only weapon to defeat enemies in a side scrolling game. There were multiple levels you could choose at the beginning without following any particular order, such as graveyard, spooky forest and a fire cave or mountain i dont remember very well, but there were many others too, with a total of 10 or 12 I believe. Of course killing enemies wasn't the only difficulty in the game, there were also points where you had to activate some switches in order to progress in some levels.
I also remember cd tatou was the input I used to run the game on my old pc (and tatou means indeed armadillo in French), but that was NOT the real name of the game unfortunately, so help me find it.
