I played it when I was very little, on my aunt's computer (around 2006 I guess). I think it run Windows XP, or it could be Vista.
There was an island with somewhat paleolithic people (island tribe people). It was from bird's eye view, simulation game and 3D. You had to gather resources by assigning people tasks, and getting more people.
You could build houses (their houses) and other common buildings. And you would assign them jobs by dragging them (for example, if you wanted them to get fish, just drag them to the fish).
The most interesting part is that you would make them mate, by dragging them to a.. love house?
Please note that I played this game years ago, so I might not remember this game completely correctly.
