Marble (?) alchemy type game

Played it 2002 ish, not sure of release date.

It had red, green and blue marbles or elements might be yellow as well.

Top down puzzle game,matching, thought the title had something to do with alchemy.

Shot in the dark, hoping someone can help.

You could be thinking of Opus Magnum, by Zachtronics, or one of the 'prototype' flash versions that can be found on the website.
