2D shooting w/ a weapon called banana split

There was this old game me and my friend played as kids all i remember is there was a weapon called banana split and the roman candle thats all i remember if you know this game then please tell me because i'd like to play it again

@Wally no thats not it. i think it was a 2d shooting game, with LAN multiplayer. thanks for the help tho
