My boyfriends pickle

wow you guys are lucky. My modem promises 56k but instead it gives me maxium 52k and the most common speeds I get are 50.6k, 49.2k(right now) and even 28.1k once. I'm getting fed up. DSL is not available in my area and I might try accelerated dial-up but even better ISDN. If I hook up with a LAN like the computers at my school the speed will surpass broadband and DSL. But for now I'm stuck with speed. Just imagine the times internet was 100 baud. Now that is slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have sharing turned off now, but my internet was capped at the begining of the month from it, it won't be better untle like the first of the month... its crap I'm telling ya... very annoying

WEll from the sounds of it my old dial up is slower then anything you guys are experianceing. It took me up to and over an hour to download 10MB files when it got really bad.

holy shit I never had internet that bad.. holy crap we're going right off topic...

the pickle died and shriveled up, but we put it into water, and it came right back to life, as good as new... lol its great, i 'm going to keep it forvever

That's kinda creepy you know. I mean it's like how you see those meals in cartoons, 'just add water' and this little pile of nothing turns into a big juicy steak.

yea well the pickled dried up into a ball, and we were going to throw it out, but my bf;'s dad said to try putting it in water, so we did and nows its good as new.. pretty awesome

Pretty rank really, they can't be all that higher quality if you 'just add water. and it's as good as new'. Mehh I never did really like maccas all that much anyway.

mcdonalds, is not fit to eat, but I like it on occasion... its ok once in a while but thats it... I never had it in a while untle then so ... yea

Well because the other two are one off's. You can only find them in one place. They're not huge chain stores like subway or maccas.

It's a food chain kinda like subway, they toast all their subs, there all oven baked.. thats why you see mcdonalds and subway toasting their subs... its copying off quiznos.. really good food, really big around here... yep
