Small, lightning fast MP3 player -(and others ....)-, no install needed, and of course freeware, excellent stuff.
All you need to enjoy your music, without any bloatware.

Interesting, especially since WinAmp has been quite bloated lately.

Winamp used to be the only thing AOL did right, but I've also noticed that it's kinda going downhill lately. Over in Linux I've been a huge fan of amarok and lately Songbird. The latter being Mozilla's take on iTunes. It's actually pretty good (especially since I generally can't stand iTunes)

I actually have both Winamp and XMPlay on here ... I use Winamp for my daily music (mp3) needs and XMPlay for the rare occasions when I play old .IT, .S3M, .XM, etc files since Winamp doesn't always interpret those correctly. Haven't tried Songbird but having used Winamp for the last 10 years or so it'd be tough to get me to change at this point ... :karate:

I'm using an older version of Winamp, for my **cough** stored **cough** music and video files. However, for DVD movies I prefer using PowerDVD as it came with the burner along with Ahead Nero.

Also note; Windows Media Player is **naughty word** as it can't play FLAC or M4A file types, and to my knowledge there are no codecs for these file types yet for this application.
