This movie's already out here.
It was the top-rated movie last week or something.

I was kind of let down by Juno.
It had that "alternative music on mainstream radio" feel...
Some "quirks" seemed way under-developed and just thrown in to make it "arthouse".
And the soundtrack wasn't well matched...
Maybe because i'm a Kimya Dawson fan, and i know the songs...-shrug-

[I don't mean all that as wanky as it sounds, i promise.]

Anyone seen that Beatles one? "Across The Universe" ? What about "Darjeeling...something something" ?

i want to see darjeeling unlimited, looks pretty good. as for Rambo, the 3rd one was just bad. and Juno... well.... im still undecided. though i may pay to see Sweeney Todd again, god that was awesome
One time I had a Jack and coke and it had a lime in it, And I saw that the lime was floating. That's good news man. Next time I'm on a boat and it capsizes, I'll reach for a lime... I'll be water skiing without a life preserver and people'll say 'What the hell?' and I'll pull out a lime...and a lemon too. I'm saved by the buoyancy of citrus.

I really enjoyed Juno, but that might just be because some of it was set in St. Cloud, Minnesota - my home town. It was also pretty surprisingly deep - I wasn't expecting that degree of emotional complexity from a teenage chick flick...

FWIW, I don't really like Kimya Dawson or the Moldy Peaches, but they didn't bother me.

I haven't read this thread almost at all
But I REALLY wanna see Juno and Accross the Universe!
There was another Beetles type movie a long time ago... I'm pretty sure it was called Jude or something. I remember "Hey Jude" being played during the trailers.... I wanna see that one too....

My friend got back from Thailand about 3 weeks back, and brought back 20 illegally burnt DVDs - they're excellent quality, and sell for about $2 apiece there. I don't see why anyone would buy DVDs there when you can get them for next to nothing.

That's the point - most of their DVDs are imported from China - hence why it's called, the pirate trade.

(Now imagine if I wasn't talking about DVDs how weird that'd sound..)
