Do you have...

Post by Tweaked700 »

Do you have a place that the forum can link to for a Config.sys or Autoexec.bat text settings for their DOS O/S? I'm sure it has been discussed a lot, but having a link with several Config.sys or Autoexec.bat parameters along side the games they work best with may be helpful to have.
DOS Machine Setup
CPU: Pentium 200 (non mmx)
Memory: 64 megs of RAM (100 nanosecond DIMMS)
Sound: Original (like 1992) Sound Blaster 16 ^I will NEVER Throw this baby away!
Video Card: Diamond Stealth Viper 16 megs
Video Monitor: (1993) Compaq SVGA (They made good monitors back then)
Hard Drive: FAT 16 10 GB Hard Drive
Partition: C:\ 2 GB D:\….I forgot.

Whats a Non-dosgames.com user?

Oh and thank you. If you would like I could make a list for some DOS games I have to give a format idea with the....3 minutes of free time I have daily.

Actually, it means somebody that discovered this forum from dosgamesarchive, not dosgames.com.

autoexec.bat contains files you want to load when DOS boots. Put DOSKey in there.

Something that should be suppressed with vigor usually reserved for a pit bull charging at a toy poodle that is covered in steak sauce.
