I haven't done it before, but here's the broad overview:

1) You'll need to download the Java DosBox version is that runs in browsers - it's definitely not the desktop version you run in Windows/Linux/Mac.

2) Install that version on your webserver

3) call it from your html as a javascript object/library.

Also:
1) You might have more luck asking at Vogons.org where the main DosBox community is and where "all the dosbox knowledge" resides.
2) There are several sites that use the java Dosbox; some abandonware sites I won't link, the one you mentioned and archive.org - you might ask around some of those sites, too, since they have it working and obviously know how.

Good luck!

You forgot to mention RGB Classic Games, which is actually the site recommended on the official jDOSBox page.

I wasn't sure if it was on the "OK to Link" list of approved sites. :D

techmaster90 - hopefully these links get you a lot farther along. I'd love to hear how it goes!

Hello techmaster90:

If you could manage to set that up it'd be nice for the people who still hang in.

DOS seems to be a dying breed and there needs to be new life.

What I'm saying is with all the Nintendos, SEGA, and etc. it's a small group.

Looking at this website alone there are only 4000+ members.

Not much considering other systems have possibly millions?

God, Jesus Christ, is number one!hehe

Jesus Christ!hehe

On a moral lesson, good friends are hard to find.

So I guess 4000+ members are enough for a small town of DOS community.

It should be, since RGB Classic Games upholds the highest standards possible regarding the legality of uploaded material.
