Cool find! I've run into Vulture before under old name Vulture's Eye as an Isometric overlay for NetHack.

But I like these NetHack 2000 tiles a little better, seem cleaner and more coherent. I wonder if that's the artistry, or the difference between the 45 degree rotation in Vulture and the more subtle rotation here?

(I took a quick peek at NetHack 2000, the code looks to be in C with latest dates I saw in 2000, and using the Qt UI library. That might not be too hard to compile today.)

edit: I forgot that before Vulture's Eye there was Falcon's Eye. I remember playing with that. :)

It's pretty but I still prefer ASCII for playing, the graphics seemed clunky and got in the way in a Form Follows Function break.

ADOM has been adding a graphical layer that looks fun, but I haven't played with it much yet to compare it and develop an opinion.

Just stumbled upon this game at itch.io:
The Temple of Torment

The tiles look very nice, I like this kind of graphics.

UPD: A couple more:

XENOMARINE
