We still get plenty of American shows free, I think most of the big budget ones and the better sitcoms / cartoons. It's just that we have to pay to see the really redneck (and a little gay: you know, a few naked guys grabbing at each other) stuff like wrestling and hunting :P Most of the pay TV is s...

Oh, Futurama freaking rocks :D

The reason I said lesser is I've seen every episode, not so exciting to me any more.

I watch Lost, Prison Break and Alias mainly.

I watch other, lesser series (Family guy, futurama, simpsons, am trying to get into Surface, but it's pretty hard to be excited about), but I never miss an episode of those top shows :D.

Where can I get the Wolf3D source?

I'd love to see it (even if raycast shootemup source code is probably worthless nowadays). Doom would be interesting to me (as most of the graphic effects are 'faked', such as the illusion of height / autoaim)

You don't need to bump a post so soon :P I think we're going to need more info. Think of the big obvious stuff first: I can't even imagine what genre you're describing. Is it a platformer where the whole level is on one screen? Is it a beat-ep up style thing? How many enemies hit you at once? How di...

I used to like them, when I was 8 years old and god-moding through commander keen seemed like a genuine accomplishment. I think it depends on the game and type of cheat. ANY unintended benefit you can get from a multiplayer game (be that through map-hacking, aimbots, or sometimes ingame cheats, hack...

Don't know much about playstations, but I don't think they can support keyboards and mice. If that's the case, there isn't a chance this would work.

Try running the programs in DOSbox.

There's also a few good ports of Doom around: ones that alllow really easy to use multiplayer games.

There are a lot of levels in that game. The first few are exactly like you describe.

Give the game a try, I'm positive Jungle strike is the right one.

Original Prince of persia

Underdogs had PoP 4D, and I've found a few demos of PoP 2, but does anyone know where I can ge the original Prince of Persia?

It's supposed to be faster (and it definitely is), but most of the time just bombs out your whole network. I use Edonkey2000. I think it is the best for obscure TV shows (I got all of Xena off there, Hercules is pushing it, but I have half of it :D). And by the way: WHAT THE HELL IS IT WITH THOSE CA...

Trying to read Hamlet.. But DAMN it's boring. Maybe it's cos I only read it at about 3 am (I have nasty insomnia), but nothing in there makes any sense to me.

I know I want to read it, it just isn't exciting.

I think you can only do it in the between level corridors. From memory (haven't played the game for 10 years), press esc and it shows a menu, then select save game.

Sounds sort of like one of those old waterpipe games.

I remember a few soleau strategy games had themes like that. Rescue Rover had heaps of levels where the goal was to send a laser somewhere.

Maverick

Finished my second game a few days ago, and am now taking a few days off from programming to appreciate other people's games (Warcraft III DOTA and Mario 1). Anyway, the game is called Maverick. The basic idea is that you are a pilot, fighting in illegal tournaments against other, similarly deranged...

Yes, I have sometimes noticed this.

I think it happens when I open a subforum in a new menu, then go back to the main page. This instantly marks everything read.
