There was a facetris game. And 'columns' variants had many stuff, maybe faces as well.

I think one of the Eschelon games from Basilisk games started like that. Worth a look, at least.
And those were inspired by the Spider Software RPGs. Lots of those and they've been going a while.

Pc or PlayStation or what platform, do you recall? Sounds like some challenges in burnout paradise or others on the series.

Win95 came with Hover!, a future tank game, worth a look.

That sounds a lot like one of the DroD "deadly rooms of death" series.

Googling DROD should get you lots of info; and I know GOG.com carries them, and there's the Caravel Games site, and there's probably (used to be) a free version if you want to try it out...

Looks like a sidescroller with ladders, I get kind of a Prince of Persia meets Lode Runner vibe. The computer looks like a pc clone in the 486-pentium era.
