The first two use serial numbers to convert shareware to full versions (same convenience).

Chinese spam
I'm getting a lot of Chinese/Taiwanese/other Far East Asian spam. I almost never get any English-language spam. They are wasting their time, if I even wanted to buy their products, I can't because I can't even read them (not that translation would be much help either). Anyone else experiencing somet...

AFAIK, #2 is the best one. I owned an S3 Savage before, it sucked, and I brought it back to the store for a refund (I paid about $150 for that blasted thing, and the 3D accelerated games played poorly). The S3 Virge DX/GX was decent for its time, but the video benchmark only had about 17000 (Not tha...

Yes there was. However, in the past few months or so, we've been trying to clean up this forum. The plan included getting rid of stuff that was deemed unnecessary. There are already quite a large number of forums here, and thus getting rid of useless ones is vital for efficient operation. To me, thi...

Sure, that's OK. If there was an installation routine, perhaps it screwed up along the way. Try re-installing the game (if there is an install routine). Or if it's a DOS-based install routine, we would need a way to install it in pure DOS, then copy the already-installed game to Windows XP, then run...

Tim Paterson - The creator of DOS
While we enjoy our cool DOS games, let's not forget where it all began. http://www.patersontech.com/Dos/ Tim Paterson, the creator of DOS. (At least if people have anti-Microsoft attitudes, they don't need to feel ashamed about using DOS, so they can go on and use FreeDOS and other non-Microsoft DOS...
