oh nd my question was is there any way i can identify the make? so ic an download the driver 4 it

i jus bought a Gamester gampad from a second hand shop, it connects through the controller port and it has a WIN/DOS switch on it, how do i get it to work because theres no number or identification on it or inside it, and 98 SE dont show n e thing either. If it had a WIN\DOS swtich on it would it be...

yeah i wanna take out my celeron but i think its stuk,

i had a real comp, 486 dx 2 8mb ram

i dont have a 5.12 drive but i can get one in a flash, but i cant find any games on ebay aussie! and i cant really buy games from ebay america because my only payment method is money order!

im usin 98 SE its ok with dos games but sometimes theres problems, like when you cant manually configure the audio, and it picks up windows sound device and it sais " cant use that its beeing used already" ebven thouhg i have a soundblaster 16.

i have an 8mb PCI 3DLABS PERMEDIA \, and its really good with all games, all i need now is more ram and something better than a celeron

thinking that its a virus, plug in a crappy hard drive and boot from that, windows 98 or something and run a virus program, if that dont work, run system chhek.

I use 800x600 on my 8mb PCI 3dlabs permedia on my samsung syncmaster 550's at 75 i think

I use the 3DLABS Permedia 8mb card its really good for dos games.

well it could be a color pallete or something messed up, it could be your monitor but i doubt it because its showing the taskbar just fine.
Go into display proities and see if you can work something out, maybe in the advanced section maybe.

i have a rockfire gamepad from 1993, and i have 98 SE on ym computer, i attach the controller and install the right type of gampad ( no driver) and it sais "not connected" even though itsd connected through the right port. i dont think it is the controller because it was working a few mont...

i used win 95 on a 486 fine.
so if i use dos and i install windows 3. watever, will i still have dos on my machine?

i use 98 SE coz its kinda better than 95 in some ways also you dont need to buy windows plus to customize the S*** out of it.

My new refurbished ASI Celeron 300 ive had for about 4 weeks but it was made in 1998, and my laptop is nearly as old as me! it was a 486/dx2 66 with 8 mb of ram, i had an external omnitor so it wasnt that bad.
