URL links forum formatting doesn't work as described?

For some reason the forum posts cannot use URL links embedded in text, as described in the 'chain-link' icon toooltips list shown above the editing window. This used to work before, but seems to have been removed in the latest forum updates? e.g. the tooltip 'Insert URL: http://url or [ur...

DOSBox versus CD-Rom directly problem

One thing I know from some other very old games; some of them always expect the CD to be drive D, and DOSBox need to be configured to mount your E: as a D: within DOSBox in these cases.

Four players in the small room with monster

I doubt it, TagPro is online timed CTF, no monster, 4v4 players, the team lose/wins, not individual players.

DOSBox versus CD-Rom directly problem

Regarding Knight's Chase, a game I don't own, do you have a plain DOS version or a combined DOS/Windows release? (Most pictures of the covers from this game on Mobygames are combined) If there is a Win95 version on the disc, maybe that can be used better if you configure the game executables as Wind...

Trying to find PlayStation game I played when I was really young

Not sure there is anything that matches in the zombie-themed PS1 game list here: https://www.mobygames.com/game/group:8038/platform:playstation/sort:moby_score/page:1/ I was thinking Evil Dead when you mentioned the chainsaw, but the environment is not a city. Also the Resident Evil games may have l...

DOS mystery text game [Murder in the Museum]

Good job finding it; it seems to have had a C64 release too: https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/images/166266-murder-in-the-museum-1987 For DOS it came out on the Big Blue Disc #16: https://www.mobygames.com/game/97065/big-blue-disk-16/ (I have submitted a short entry for it at Mobygames) This ...

I've never played it, but the Amiga version seems to have some installation instructions at HOL.
(More or less just copy files from floppy to the HD game directory)

3D adventure/action game

I haven't played much in this game style, but there are some websites which may have some suggestions here:

Reddit might be a good place to ask also.

Having 2x 2gb partition in dos 6.22

DOS 6.22 natively only understands FAT16, and Windows 10 only creates FAT32 as standard. To either create a FAT16 on Win10, or access a FAT32 partition from earlier than DOS 7.10, you need to use some 3rd-party software. There are several ways to do this with various 3rd party partitioning software....
