HVB Barneveld and HVB Software

I wouldn't call Voornaam a game; it's just a database with information about given names.

The Blues Brothers [DOS] - How to enable two players

I found over 40 games of them on my dad's old floppies and would like to add them to playdosgames.com, but only if I have permission from the author. I was wondering, which HVB games do you have that aren't on the Mobygames' list of HVB games ? 5-Letter-Kruiswoord 5-Seconden 21-en Bind-Woord Boggle...

HVB Barneveld and HVB Software

I came across this tweet : I would like to get in contact with "HVB Barneveld" or "HVB Software", who developed and published Dutch DOS games from 1990-1992. After trying for a couple of years without success, let's see the power of Twitter: please contact us! They're also known ...

In 2007 I emailed the programmer of 8088 Othello and asked for its source code. In 1985 he sold the source code for $10, but in 2007 I got it for free.

I've looked at Nukem2.exe of the shareware version and the registered version and it doesn't accept any command line arguments. There isn't even a command line argument to disable joystick detection or AdLib / Sound Blaster detection, unlike other Apogee games.

Back to the Future Part II Cheats

I found some cheats for Back to the Future Part II.

At the screen that says "Press fire to start!" type EINSTEIN. If you've done this right, the screen will say "Cheating". Now you are invincible and if you press Tab, you'll warp to the next level.

BTW, on an EGA in 320x200 mode you can only use the default 16 colors. In 640x350 you can choose 16 colors from a palette of 64 colors.

Here's a list of games that tweak the EGA card: http://www.mobygames.com/attribute/sheet/attributeId,6/

Maybe some games on that list use a different palette of colors than the default 16 colors.

I've put the cheats for Contra & Gryzor on my website.
There are cheats for invincibility, level warping and even a cheat to quit the game. :shifty:

Legend of Seven Paladins 3D Cheats

I found the cheat codes of Legend of Seven Paladins 3D. I know of three versions of this game and the cheats are different in every one of them. Use these cheats in the game world levels; they won't do anything in the intro level. The demo version has a creation date of 22-Sep-1994. Hold down Num Lo...
