Sounds like "Lode Runner: The Legend Returns". In this
picture, you can see the 2 players with Silver and Blue shirts respectively and the enemies in red hoods and the gold for collecting.

Put the words "prince megahit" or "prince improved" in a .bat file. Then use Dosbox to open that .bat file. The rest of the in-game cheats works the same way as running from dos.
