Reimagining an ASCII Text Adventure

Why reverse engineer someone elses work, if they have other future plans for it? Better create your own adventure, if that is what you want to do. Plenty tools for rolling your own, I gather; look at e.g. http://textadventures.co.uk/ To be honest, I'm not interested in making my own adventure. I'm ...

Reimagining an ASCII Text Adventure

Hi, hopefully this is the right place for this. So there's this text adventure game I'm in love with. Skullduggery: Adventures in Horror, created by David Jewett in 1986 for the Apple II computer, and later remade for more modern (windows 95, IBM, etc) machines. As a kid, I played this game for hour...

DOS/Windows Top-down Fantasy Adventure with Fool/Jester

Not so sure on the jester's name being Jinx. There's an actual ps1 game called jinx that has a jester of that name, and that's definitely not it. Why is this game so hard to find? lol. I even tried going through the way back machine, cause gamefaqs had a walkthrough of it, but unfortunately not know...

Top down medieval adventure game

More details from memory: The game moved much like a legend of zelda setting wood, as in the map of the world is in square areas and you move to the next area by going up, left, down, or right depending on where there is an open area. The game begins with a map that looks like a river going across t...

Top down medieval adventure game

Want to open this back up if I can. This has been killing me forever now. I remember the name was something weird. It was definitely something like 16 bit graphics.

DOS/Windows Top-down Fantasy Adventure with Fool/Jester

Sadly, it is not Sword Quest I, which I've also played before. Sword Quest is turn based combat, where the game I'm looking for was live action like God of Thunder, but controlled by moving the mouse. The Jester character was essentially a glorified mouse cursor with a weapon.

DOS/Windows Top-down Fantasy Adventure with Fool/Jester [The Legend of Lezda: The Adventure of Jinx]

Brief explanation of what I can remember I do not know the release date, but I played it sometime between 1990 and 2000. It was a top down fantasy/adventure game where the main character was a fool/jester. The character was roughly the same size and graphic style as the MC from God of Thunder, asid...
