Silver Jumping Ball

There was a Philips CD-i game called Zenith that played something like that, viewed from above only; not sure if it ever came to other platforms.
There are some youtube gameplay videos available: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... +game+cd-i

Game featuring a yellow dog

If that is indeed the right game, there is a playable version (16bit installer, probably for Win3.x, as the release is 1996, won't run under Win64) uploaded at archive.org here: Cyber Pest . (The developer & publisher of this shareware title seems to have been located in the UK, but there are no...

00s/10s SciFi Turn Based Strategy Game

Was it using the same isometric view of your troops as the older X-Com DOS game, or something else? Space Hulk is another game with only two types of enemy aliens who also use melee fighting. I'm not sure if you can play as aliens in a solo game - you can play versus games online, so maybe you can u...

1988 - 1994 DOS Side Shooter / Puzzle (no scrolling) = Very difficult not recognizable on big lists

So...maybe something from the same developer/publisher Apogee Software, or involving the same designer George Broussard? https://www.mobygames.com/company/apogee-software-ltd https://www.mobygames.com/developer/sheet/view/developerId,1007/ I looked at a few of his games, and possibly Bio Menace is s...

Retro games comic - This Strife

FYI: It might be a browser thing, I can see the images fine, and for me they get scaled down to fit - some of the seem to be 0x0 but still get rescaled ok.
(I'm using FF ESR release 52.9.0)

GBA Japanese Monster/Weapon Collection RPG (Early 2000s)

I don't know, but maybe look in this list of GBA JRPG games: https://www.mobygames.com/browse/games/gameboy-advance/role-playing-rpg/jrpg/ I think the GBA could play older GameBoy and GBC games too, so maybe it's something to look at in the lists. There is also a monster capture/trainer group: https...

Game based on Cultures

I found it on an old private fanpage in Norwegian: https://www.gratis-kvalitetsdataspel.org/omtalar/cultures-the-beginning/ The website (not updated since 2009) kept free & demo games only, for DOS & Windows no shareware nor warez, according to the site owner. The download still works, so I'...

Compilation CD of 50 Games

Yes, there is a lot of those compilations; sometimes with a main title being a more known game, and a lot of mixed shareware/freeware bundled.
Here is a list of such 'shovelware' compilations to search: https://www.mobygames.com/genre/sheet/c ... hovelware/

A guy with "Cowboy" voice act?!

I guess you mean this game: Bastion from 2011.

There is also another game with the same name, but older: Bastion from 1996, this is a DOS game, so it is more suited for this forum.

Thanks for the update; here is Mobygames entry: https://www.mobygames.com/game/win3x/dr-dragos-madcap-chase (There is a demo here: https://archive.org/details/Dr.DragosMadcapChase_1020 ) I saw someone tried to update the game to more modern operating systems some years ago, but that effort seems to ...

Game About Graduating School While The Principal Tries To Stop You

'old' means nothing...an approximate year you played it, and a platform for it is better. One such game is called 'Bully', but it might not be yours, it's fairly recent, but still old to some. https://www.mobygames.com/game-group/bully-versions There is a larger list of school themed games here: htt...

The dragon is called 'Dino-fly', and is an NPC character in both of the LBA games, which were my favourite adventures at the time.

Good that you found it; there is a Mobygames group for the series: https://www.mobygames.com/game-group/rastan-series

The first two was also released on other platforms, and I guess it depends on how popular it was, if it pays off to port a game to other platforms.

Flash 2D space shooter in the solar system, upgrading your ship

I know this is an all new game, but I could not resist linking the video: Space Scavenger Also very simple spaceships, slightly better graphics and in the same vein as the older Captain Forever game I guessed at before. I know there was another one, rogue-like, kind of like FTL , with more complex s...

Desperate search: Turn-based cartoonish board game style car(?) game, Windows/DOS 1990s

I was thinking of some version of 'Mille Miglia', but that is usually only in Italy.

Also some detective games like 'Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego', but there is seldom cars in those.

Hmm...Stratosphere?
But I think these fortresses can move, and I'm not sure if there is a 1st person view for shooting.
