DOS mystery text game [Murder in the Museum]

Good job finding it; it seems to have had a C64 release too: https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/images/166266-murder-in-the-museum-1987 For DOS it came out on the Big Blue Disc #16: https://www.mobygames.com/game/97065/big-blue-disk-16/ (I have submitted a short entry for it at Mobygames) This ...

Their Finest Hour: The Battle of Britain and Their Finest Missions Add on install

I've never played it, but the Amiga version seems to have some installation instructions at HOL.
(More or less just copy files from floppy to the HD game directory)

3D adventure/action game

I haven't played much in this game style, but there are some websites which may have some suggestions here:

Reddit might be a good place to ask also.

A Collection of Unnamed Game Descriptions

Q: "A 3d FPS or 3rd Person view game, I remember a light tower and a blue barrier in the sky, we were either trying to shut the barrier down or keep it on, there was a currency called "Pearls" in this game with which you could buy things. In one of the levels, I remember driving a Jet...

I can only direct you to Wikipedia; there is a list of animated series without dialogue here:

Having 2x 2gb partition in dos 6.22

DOS 6.22 natively only understands FAT16, and Windows 10 only creates FAT32 as standard. To either create a FAT16 on Win10, or access a FAT32 partition from earlier than DOS 7.10, you need to use some 3rd-party software. There are several ways to do this with various 3rd party partitioning software....

High Command by Three Sixty, looking for scenario editor

This ad is from the floppy release, marked 'to be released in august'. There are later CD releases with covers on Mobygames, and those don't mention the editor. I looked at a forum that talked about this game (among other things), and I read a comment indicating it was never released. Maybe you can ...

Game from a 1001 games site

Ok, I think it is spelt 'Blym', at least the character seems to fit with a green blob in a hat.
It can be played in a flash-sandbox app, if it supports 'actionscript 3' which the game uses.

Old PC Plus Disks archived?

I guess it is a bit random to find these old disks; there is a picture archive here: http://pcplus.atspace.com/
All are of the UK magazine but nothing for download or purchase what I can see.

At archive.org there are some cover disks in collections but it seems not the #48 one you look for.

Old PC Plus Disks archived?

Wasn't those monthly magazines & disks, e.g. 12 issues/year? (What I recall the magazine was localized, so it could possibly be a different content on the floppy in your country than in mine) Issue #48 is from 1990 what I can see when googling for them, so maybe you are thinking of something else?

Possible DDOS attack / bot on a rampage

Very much DDOS going on recently I think - keep getting messages aimed at other spam-IP:s I think.

Edit: I noticed my timezone was off in my profile, possibly since last update of the forum - I fixed that, but still issues with 'permanently banned IP' messages.

I thought of that also at first, but the OP specifically said it was not one of Shatners games.

The spambot report thread

A couple of times today I've seen a spambot warning screen for my own IP when I have logged in or making a report.
Looking at spamhouse.com, I cannot find a matching warning there, and when retrying the operation things work as usual again.

Is there some overload attack still ongoing, or what?

That sounds like something for the Vogons DOSBox games forum.
I don't know the game, so I can't be of much help.

Anyone interested/collect those 90s shovelware addon discs for PC games?

Not really collecting them, but I have a few such releases for various games (not for DOOM as I don't have that game, but for Unreal and others). Not exactly shovelwares, but community-produced addons released on CD.
