Is there any good resources for programming DOS games?

Discuss popular GCS tools like ZZT, Megazeux and Adventure Game Studio, as well as programming and other topics related to game design.

Is there any good resources for programming DOS games?

Post by harrykane140693 » Wed Sep 19, 2018 10:57 pm

So on YouTube I follow the 8-Bit Guy, and he is currently making a video game for DOS. After watching the video he put out today, I really want to try my hand at making a small DOS game. Issue is, I can't find many resources on DOS. The only video's I found on YouTube that labeled themselves as "tutorials" for DOS games were all for text based games, and I want to make a game with visuals.

And yes, for testing and playing, I have DOSbox.

So back to my question: Is there any good online resource for programming in DOS?
