For any of you who may remember this 80's - 90's Subscription published by Shay Addams, or would like to read some pre-internet game reviews etc. I'm uploading them all to my webpage. They are similiar to famous New Zork Times published by Infocom but included all upcoming games, not just Infocom games.

The Newsletter, first published in 1984, was distributed by mail around the world, written by a handful of hard core gamers and was published monthly with such things as hints and walkthroughs of current games, reviews and upcoming games for Apple, Atari, Commodore, IBM & Mac. It also included ads from gamers requesting and offering hints for various
games as well as offers to trade and sell games.

I've scanned & uploaded about 33 months of them so far (just completed Sep. 1988) and will continue on until I either run out of allowed space or complete them through 1996.

For a bit of fun, here's the link to my entrance way instead of my index
page.
Entrance way = http://Sensuari.googlepages.com/sensuari

I'm also selling some of my games but the main intent is to preserve this
great old Newsletter.

Enjoy!

Cute entry page(s). Happy

I read through a few of the magazines you had uploaded. I personally believe in preserving as many games - and articles, magazines, bbs posts, etc about games from the 1980s and early 90s as possible. 100 years from now, they'll be studied extensively by historians studying the beginning of gaming history.

Thanks for the reply!
I expanded the subscription a bit by providing separate pages for reviews, walkthroughs and game hits, listed in alphabetical order by game name, that are linked directly to the applicable Questbusters Newsletter page.

Glad you enjoyed them!

Cheers,

Thanks for the favorable comment Dos Raider!

I've received a notification from Google that they will be transfering all my pages to Googlesites in June with possibly 500MB of space available. This should allow me to have the complete series of subscriptions from 1984 - 1996 available for viewing.

Even more to read with even more time lost. Laughing

Cheers,
Jon Cool
