Apparently, Kellogg's is also trying to portray themselves as the company with the worst ads known to man.

(and while the Australian site looks marginally healthier, I doubt "coco-pops" has anything good for you in them)

Apparently Coco pops are full of vitamins and minerals but are very tasty, I wouldn't eat them every day on a regular diet.. Nutri Grain / Corn Flakes / Rice Bubbles or weet bix are my cereals of choice.

I agree with dogbreath, the fruity ones are naaaaasty. See if you can find the smores kind, or any of the chocolatey ones for that matter. They're where the yummyness is.

I also heard that they have no fibre whatsoever. No fibre for breakfast almost every morning = bowel cancer by middle-age.

But yeah, the health aspect would make sense as a reason to remove them. Pity though, as I thought they were a pretty cool product, so far as that sort of thing goes.

The biggest thing about Pop-Tarts are that they are fattening and have lots of calories.
But, if compared to eating sausage or bacon and eggs with some toast, they are about the same.

Me thinks that the American and Aussie idea of 'healthy' food is pretty screwed.

I drink a glass of water with a multivitamin in the morning, and typically eat a peanut butter sandwich. Then I take some Vitamin C.

Not normal or healthy healthy, but not too bad. I use whole wheat white, by the way, so I'm getting enough fiber.

I've been mostly living off Subway rolls and Barocca the past few weeks. Though, this is entirely due to the fact I'm working almost all the time and that's the most convenient thing for me at the moment. Not too sure where that would stand on health. XD

Dosraider: Just because things are marketed as healthy in Australia, doesn't mean everyone thinks they are.
I wanted to try Poptarts as a novelty, not as a breakfast food.

I usually don't eat breakfast, which is very unhealthy...
But for my other sporadically placed meals throughout the day i usually have fresh meat and vegetables and brown rice / bread. So i have a pretty reasonable diet.
Thus, i allow myself to have poptarts or something else nommy every now and then.
It's all about moderation.

Subway is pretty decent i think?
Depends what you get on it though i guess.

Anyone else want a taste of unhealthy Americana? Send me your requests. In return, I want some equally unhealthy.

I was never allowed to eat poptarts growing up either. So one day when I was at university I bought a box "Haha I'm not at home no one can tell me what to eat" ... and they were terrible. Sad It was so disappointing.

If you have Toaster Strudel there, get that instead ...

That's what you get for being a rebel who doesn't have long hair, seriously the hair makes all the difference.
