I have two IBM 5150's with IBM 5151 green monochrome displays. One has a Hercules card, both have 20MB hardcards.

I also have two IBM 5160 XT's, both with IBM 5153 CGA displays. One is an early model XT with 256kB on the motherboard, an expansion card to 640kB, and a 10MB Seagate ST-412. The other is a late model XT with 640kB on the motherboard, a 20MB WD25 hard drive and IBM 'enchanced' keyboard.

Then there is the Amstrad PC1640 (8MHz XT clone), that has a 30MB hard drive and EGA display.

I like my 8088/8086's Shit-Eating Grin

I got my first PC in 1995 which was a packard bell P75mhz with a gig of ram and windows 95 in it!! That PC is long gone but I have another one that I recently fixed up that came out around 1997 and is also a packard bell. I want to buy me an older one with windows 3.11 to be able to play great DOS GAMES!

'Bout 3.11... don't! You'd be better off with Win98se. But if you desperately want win 3.11, use the Microsoft Virtual PC(2004), install MSDOS 6.22, and then install 3.11.

Simply installing Win 3.11 in DOSBox would probably be too easy! Tbbbbbth!

I think I must have been 7 or 8 when I had my first computer. Not sure.
It was windows 3.11 and it had the dos games like nibbles, gorillas etc.

My computer now...
Had it since August, self build. I usually replace/upgrade my computer once a year, sometimes 2 years. This one will prob be at the 2 yr mark. And I bought a mobo that will support quad core processors as well so it won't be a complete rebuild.

This computer:-

Mobo: Asus P5N-E SLI
Processor: Pentium E6750 (2.66 ghz dual core 1333 mhz fsb)
RAM: 2GIG 800mhz dual SLI
HD: 500GIG Samsung multi-boot XP/Vista/Fedora (64bit system)
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 8800 640mb GTS
Monitor: Old ;p Samsung 19" 12ms response time ^^
K/b: MS comfort split
Mouse: MS Habu Razor

Can't remember my sound card Happy
