(Sorry if this has already been started elsewhere, don't see it)
Who do you think are really good authors?

Can't really think right now I have a headache, but first good author that comes to my mind is Dan Brown. I've read Deception Point, The Da Vinci Code, and Digital Fortress, and I couldn't put any of them down until I was done. I'm going to get Angels & Demons.

Can't think of many others, except maybe Tom Clancy. I liked his fiction books, but TC is only good for you if you like military stuff.

Well, that's just me. How about you?

Note: By good author, I mean "S/He wrote a good book once". I mean someone who wrote more good books than 'average' IYO.
