Post subject: Vertical scrolling shooter with car [= Higway Hunter] |

I'm looking for a vertical scrolling game where you played in some kind of futuristic world and instead of playing the usual space ship you drove some kind of car or other wheel-borne vehicle and had to avoid obstacles on the road while you shot other cars and possibly flying enemies too(not sure about that though).
I played the game on our old computer with an AMD K6 processor, so that means i must've been later than 1997. I'm guessing the game was released in the mid 90's. The graphics were 2D and the view was top down. |

Wow!
This is the game I was looking for. Kind of strange to see this old game again. My memories of the game are old and distorted but after watching youtube clips of the game i understood this was it. |
