okay... i used to have a reely old computer that was only a games screen and the only colors on the beginning screen were black and green... anyways...
one of the games i used to play took place at a castle and you were a knight type of dude walking around... i remember that it started at the castle bridge on the moat... there was some evil wizard dude that kept killing me so i didnt get far. i have no idea what it is called!!

another game was in a haunted house... you could walk around in the house and i remember these scary lookin twins in one of the rooms... it is one of those games where you could pick up keys or watering cans and such... it was one of them games where there was a screen and then it was text and you chose where to go next by clicking some button i.e. - Walk into House -Walk to backyard -Look at strange tree

For the first game, what Wally meant was that your mention of an old computer with green and black screen is mostly likely to be an Apple II computer. Sorry I have not played your game before and there are a number of games that have Knights and Wizards. While waiting for someone to identify your game, you might want to try your luck by looking at some screenshots of Apple II Role Playing games. However, the screenshot they have are mostly similar title dos version.

Yeah, Hugo's House of Horrors was the first one that came to mind for the second one...

Possibly Maniac Mansion though, there's the twins in that...Or DOTT...? Not really "haunted houses"...

I'd say Hugo, purely because you said, "pick up key" "pick up water can"...

The first one sounds like King's Quest or Dragon's Lair.

I think the second one may be Mystery House.
