Till a while ago our own Wardrich had his 'the pit' BBS up and running, but now it's down, he found a woman(finally!) and somehow figured out how to get offspring .... must keep him extremely busy.... ***joking of course***
http://thepit.no-ip.org/index.html
I guess sooner or later he will get it back up. (If he ever sobers up, that is ....)
As for other 'active' dos BBSes ....
I won't insult you by telling you to 'google', I'm pretty sure you already did it and found out the same as I did a ling time ago, searching for some specific info on the net is bloody shit.
This is till you finally find something relevant about what you're looking for.
This said, a while ago I stumbled on this:
http://www.telnetbbsguide.com/ and from there I got:
http://www.telnetbbsguide.com/bbslist.asp
I had it bookmarked and got at least some interesting info/links to active BBSses.
It's still digging to find interesting stuffs, but certainly worth the effort once in a while.
Have fun. ( )
[Edit]
There was also 'The ImagiNation Network' revival, but I don't know if it's still active now .....

If you want to try it out you can find the needed files @AB

| Thanks, man! Yes, I have no trouble finding dead links or ancient reviews and etc., looking for anything active via google. I look forward to following up on the telnetbbsguid - nice link. |
