hey,
So, fairly old- like, it was new when riven came out. Starts off with you in your house, your mom kisses you for good luck, and these hearts float up that give you your initail health points.
You are supposed to go to the drug store to get help for your home pet (delivery dragon/drake).
The game is, as i remember it, not ver linear, in that you can wander around all over the game (setting=island...of course).
it's kind of fantastic, i.e. there is an elephant man (dressed up in a suit). I remember that you can smack him around a bit, and he gets mad and eventually hits you with his trunk, but if you get out of the way right before, he hits some innocent bistander instead...
anyways, the drug store tells you to hit ctrl c or something to help your dragon thing, but that doesn't work. And right as you're leaving the drug store, a crook runs in and steals some ladies umbrella, and you have to chase the crook.
I remember there is a guy fishing for crabs, which he tosses up on shore.
There is a kid that is sitting up on a ledge and he will throw rocks at you.
Can't remember much more, wondering if anyone has heard of this game... |
