Yup, that's "Heros", not "Heroes" ... the full title is sometimes also written "Heros, A Super Hero Platform Game." Anywho, this EGA platform game seems clearly inspired by Apogee classics such as Duke Nukem, but manages to add some notable features. Before beginning a level (mission) you select from one of seven different characters which all have unique abilities. The game certainly has a lot of charm and personality, however this is hindered somewhat by the actual platforming engine, which isn't as tight as the Apogee classics. (Note: Although the game says it is not shareware and not to distribute, the author released it for free on his website.)
