Galactix (no relation to the space shooting game of the same name) is a sidescrolling CGA adventure type game. It's described in the brief included documentation this way: "Your ultimate goal is to find (and carry to the spaceship) the 5 items that are required for the repair." To do so, you move around the ship (using the left and right Shift keys to move and Space to jump) as well as by collecting and using various items you find around the ship. It's a unique and difficult experience, especially since your time (aka strength) is continually ticking away. (It will run fast, you'll probably need to slow it down.)
