Original archive (backfor.zip, 498k) - The main download file above (DOSBOX_BACKFOREST.ZIP) is pre-configured to work DOSBox. This file, backfor.zip, is the original and may require installation / setup.
In this platforming game you play a squirrel named Skunny (who's also featured in several other Copysoft games), and are on a vaguely Sonic-ish quest to "save your girl". Pretty good VGA graphics, and SB sound effects ... however, the controls are very loose and floaty (especially the way your character slides around as if he were on ice), which makes this game tough to get used to. It also feels a bit more "zoomed in" than necessary, making it difficult to dodge quickly approaching hazards.
